I am no food blogger, but there are some recipes I just can’t help but share with you all. This homemade bread recipe is a favorite of ours. I started making it back when we lived in our townhouse, and was thrilled to discover I could also bake it in a crock pot when we’re on the road. My kids love it and we usually eat the whole loaf in one day.
This recipe calls for flour, water, yeast, and salt. That’s it and there is no kneading involved, just some rising time. It, honestly, couldn’t be easier. When we’re on the road I halve the recipe and just bake two loaves in one day because we don’t have the fridge space to store the dough. It only takes about 2hrs per loaf in my crock pot. The smell of fresh baked bread filling the fifth wheel is divine. Truly.

To brown the top I just put it under the broiler in the oven for a few minutes once it’s done. Easy, peasy.
Did you know that I send an email newsletter once a week that contains all the blog posts from that week? My interests are pretty varied, and this way you can easily see what I’ve offered on the blog and click through to the posts you are most interested in. It also contains a brief update on where we are and what’s going on with us. The newsletter goes out every Friday morning, and if you are interested in receiving it simply submit your email below. I promise not to send any spam, and hope this helps make Love, Bridget even more accessible to you!
