So, how do you turn a download on your computer into an actual physical print to frame and hang in your home? It’s easier than you might think!
First, after you order your prints you will be sent an email with the downloads. It looks like this:
Click on each download and save them someplace on your computer that is easy for you to find. I like to keep a folder right on my desktop with my prints in it, but you can also keep yours in your Pictures or in your Downloads. This way they are easy to find when you go to upload them for printing.
When we were printing our images to make sure the quality was really great, we chose three different places to order prints from. First, I used Walgreens. The Walgreens website is super easy and you can have most prints ready the same day. If you are ordering poster sizes (anything bigger than 8×10) start at the posters option on their website. If you just upload your photos and then go to prints you will only have the standard sizes to choose from.
Next, I ordered my Golden Gate Bridge in 12×18 from Snapfish.
Snapfish is an online shop for prints and picture related items. I got a great deal with a Mother’s Day coupon, but I had to wait over a week for it to be shipped to me. Snapfish was just as easy to use and the quality was just as good as Walgreens. The only downside was having to wait for my print.
The last place I ordered prints from was Walmart. I ordered Boardwalk in 20×30 (you can see it in the feature image at the top of this post) and Poppy in 11×14.
Both prints are great quality and I was able to pick them up the same day. Bonus: I did some grocery shopping while I was there.
If you have a good printer you can purchase some photo paper and print our 8x10s or 5x7s right from the comfort of your own home. I’ve also heard really great things about Costco printing, but when you live in an RV there’s not really room to buy in bulk. =)
Now that you know how easy it is to print our downloads click the logo to start shopping!
Next week I’ll be back to talk about framing your prints and before long you’ll have some wonderful new art up on your walls!
